Like Big Guys?

The tallest man I ever dated was 6'5" and about 250lbs. I didn't think about the height difference (I'm 5'8"; 5'8+1/2" if I stand up straight) except when he got into my car (small) or if I wanted to kiss him when we were both standing up. But he was a big guy, very muscular, and it really hurt if he tried to massage my shoulders or something. I had to keep reminding him to be gentle.

The biggest man I ever dated was about 6'2" and about 350 lbs. That was more difficult. He was self-conscious, had trouble fitting into seats if we went to see a movie (so then we didn't go to a movie again by his choice), wouldn't fly to a vacation spot with me (I think because of the size of the seats -- but to be fair Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines has some planes whose seats would squash most people-! He couldn't go on long walks with me because he got out of breath quickly. He didn't want to go cycling or hiking or camping because he got "out of puff". He didn't want to be intimate. It wasn't a very satisfying relationship and it ended after about 2 months of seeing each other.

I've dated men of all heights and weights, builds, careers, looks. If I saw something in his personality I liked, I'd usually ask him out or wait for him to ask me out. Looks fade, people lose weight, gain weight, change jobs. What truly matters is what's inside.

That all depends on the person. Some girls/women are too stuck on themselves and arrogant to "be seen with" a big guy. They are the shallow, self-centered, pathetic, sad creatures no one wants to be around to beg in with. However, a woman who is "above" the petty "judge a book by its cover" actions, look deeper and see the real person inside.

My housemate is a "big guy". I adore him, as does his girlfriend. He is a good man with a big heart. He is also my best friend. Then there are people such as my X-husband. Big guy and just as sweet as anything. We just couldn't live together, but he is also a good man. I also know big guys who are asses and should be shot. But that's another story.

My belief is that real women want a man who treats her well and adores her. If that happens to be a big guy, then so be it.

Depends on what kind of big you mean....I am assuming body wise right? Do you mean guys with muscle versus skinny guys or average guys versus guys with a few extra pounds.

Muscle is good....but lets face alot of people don't keep themselves in tip top shape which is hard to do...myself included.

I prefer to have a man with some extra lbs versus skinny I have even dated overweight men...the person as a whole is how I view them. I would rather date a heavier guy who is sweet and can engage me intellectually versus an inshape pretty boy. Pretty boys kinda turn me off.

Big as in tall or big as in chubby? I like big guys better all the way around. More to love, something to hold on to, and all of that. Plus I feel more protected with big guys. Snuggly and comfortable.

I don't think it can be answered generally. It really just depends on the girl and the guy. Some do and some don't.

I like big guys because when I am around them or dating them, I generally feel safer.

I love big guys because I am short and I like a guy who when he has his arm around me makes me feel safe.

I love big guys. They are my preference. They are so cuddly and most of them are so sweet and kind.

Unfortunately a lot of girls look at the outside instead of the inside. This happened to my husband before I met him. He is the most loving, caring man I have ever met. He had to resort to online dating to find me! We have been together ever since and married for two years.

ive dated a few chubby guys if thats what you mean and i love men in general and fat guys have more to hug, i love em! my current boyfriend is very skinny but yeah id go for a big guy. that kinda big guy too!! :P

For me its a yes and no situation. Some of them i do, because of their personality and the others no, because they can be big jerks. For an ex. last year i like one b/c he was sweet and funny and then i thought i like another but he turned out to be a very big jerk.
