Parlodel is the name brand of bromocriptine mesylate. It is a prolactin inhibitor and a dopamine-receptor agonist.
It is used to treat Parkinson's disease, acromegaly, and amenorrhea and galactorrhea from hyperprolactinemia, female infertility, and macroprolactinoma.

Yes, Prolactin is a hormone and it stimulates milk production and normal fertility in women.
