Any advertisment has the same goal, to make money. This one is hoping you will buy their product because it's commercial is odd and funny. Some sort of horrible or strange scenario like this might help you keep the brand name in your head, so when you go to the store and see this product you will be think "I remember that commercial, that was funny. i will buy this product."
