well use a lip moisturizer daily. I use to use a lip moisturizer from victoria secret it was called bedtime lip balm, put in on every night before you go to bed and the next day my lips felt so moisturized all day. victoria secret has a new one called beauty rush soothing lip balm its great also.

basically invest in good chapstick or some form of lip balm

I put vaseline on my lips at night while i sleep.. it helps keep them moist.. Licking your lips is the worst thing you could do, it makes your lips drier which is exactly what is happening.. Keep chapstick around, soft lips or bath and body has a good one. I usually lip line my lips put some chapstick on then apply the lipstick.. Even Carmax is good for chapped lips.

I think your lips keep getting dry because maybe your not drinking enough water, when you don't drink enough water your skin tends to dry out and the first place that dries out are your lips, so i would suggest drinking more water and some good chap stick to help keep them hydrated hope this helped...

Water!! More often than not, you aren't getting enough water. Make certain that you're drinking approximately 8 glasses per day. If you're hydrated, you can lick your lips all you want and you won't have to worry about dry lips.

You shouldn't lick your lips to moisten them. It may feel good temporarily but its actually doing more damage. My husband has dry cracked lips and he's been using Avon's Moisture Therapy chap stick and they are much better you can see a difference. And it's super cheap like .99

yes, licking them does make the situation worse.
i know it sounds silly, but drink more water, when mine
get dry, i know it is because i have been slacking in the
water department. at least 1 ounce of water for each 2
pounds you weigh. i am overweight so that means well
over the 8 glasses a day usually recommended, but when
i keep the total up i have no chapped lips. incidentally,
that is water, coffee, tea, juice, and soda must be
added after drinking the necessary water.

DO NOT LICK YOUR LIPS.That is the worst thing you can do if you have dry, sore lips. I would apply a soothing lip balm or some vasaline to my lips and if they still didnt clear up i would go see my doctor as it may be a dry skin condition. also exfoiliate your lips with a clean toothbrush once a week to rid your lips or ugly dry flakes.

Do not lick your lips. Use a good natural moisturizer, like Vaseline, and your chapped lips will be cured for life!

Using chapsticks like the other answers are great, as well as drinking tots of water and supplementing with essential fatty acids (Omega 3, 6, & 9). These give you moisture from the inside out - and give you great skin all over!
