I thought it would be a lot worse than it was. I wasn't sick at all. Every one's different though. I've had friends who were sick for part of, or throughout their entire pregnancies, even to the point of bed rest and hospitalization. I guess we are just lucky. :-) Congratulations, and enjoy your pregnancy!

I was so worried when I found out I was pregnant from all the stories I heard about morning sickness and labor. I have to say I never experienced any nausea or other common symptoms associated with pregnancy. During labor I had an epidural and I never even felt contractions that were any worse that cramps I got every month. After my little girl was born I was up shopping and running around the next day and even played in my step-daughters softball game for parents 2 weeks after. I can say not everyone is as lucky as I was though. The only advice I can give you is listen to what everyone says, but don't count on you doing the same.

Some women never have morning sickness. If you remain feeling great, great. The lie that is typically told (out of some sense of being polite or proper) is how labor feels. The polite or typical thing you are told is that when you go into labor it feels like you have to go to the bathroom.
The reality is it feels like all your insides are trying to come out your rear end. The hardest thing to do in this case is to relax. You may even think you are relaxed, I thought I was, and found I actually was not when after being told for the millionth time to relax.. I took a swing at the doctor.
(this was after over 40 hours of labor) I never experienced morning sickness. Do not expect it and you might never experience it. The onset of labor actually started with my lower back aching and I could find no sitting or lying position that seemed to help.
All the memory of any of this pretty much vanishes when you deliver and start counting the toes and fingers on your child.

I'm only maybe 15 weeks but I feel great. In the very beginning, I had major cravings and I felt so sick. Everyone told me what not to eat and how not to do things. Then I read an article by Laura Stanley about how cravings are the body's way of telling you what it needs so it's ok to eat what you want, just don't eat a lot. So I ate what I was craving and I felt great. Did you change your diet at all? If not, good. Just one tip, eat more protein. My mom had a high protein diet with me and she actually lost weight after i was born. I'm on a high protein diet and i've only gained 4 pounds.

I think that every pregnancy is different. With my first, I thought everything was going to be such a breeze...turns out that I ended up a high-risk case and it wasn't so breezy. This time around, I fully expected everything to be the same as the first time; however, I am completely normal this time around and I'm feeling absolutely fine.

some women feel absolutely no side effects hun, as a doctor i cen tell you that vomiting is usually withing the first 3 months and most of the stress is mental.
just enjoy it, PP depression is common to my patients due to the lack of the sheltering they used to have, enjoy it, it is a beautiful time for you and your baby.
you may start to feel some other symptons incuding fatigue, anxiety, emotional stress etc,.. have a healthy baby and good luck.
you may want to search my other answers here for any other help you need, i had some free time today.
avoid my abortion answers as i have racked up many hatred emails regarding this, i am totally against it so i let them have it, lol

Everyone is different. I'm 11 weeks and it just really started to get bad. I was sick to my stomach for a while, but lately I've started throwing up. But, like I said, everyone is different. You might not get sick at all, you lucky girl!!
