Santa's origins come from a time when people did not celebrate the person's birthday. When the person died is when they were celebrated. This is why St. Nicholas is celebrated on his date of death. It is to honour the person. I haven't see a birthday for Santa Claus in any of the material I have on the spirit of Christmas. In some ways Santa Claus, due to his various origins has been orphaned, as his parentage is not really known. But there is enough to celebrate with what we do know. Write him a letter and see what response you get. Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0. That is his postal code in Canada.

If you want the birthday of Santa Claus, the imaginary fat man who rides a sled pulled by flying veal, he doesn't exist.

If you want the birthday for Saint Nicholas, the person who inspired the imaginary fat man mentioned above, I believe his birthday has been lost to time. But according to wiki, and as mentioned above:

Born 3rd century in Patara
Died 6 December 343 in Myra
Feast Day December 6 (evidently set for the day he died)

The idea of Santa is based on Saint Nicholas- his feast day is 6th December.
