My favorites were "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel" by Virginia Lee Burton, and "Make Way For Ducklings" by Robert McCloskey. Now that you know ours, why not tell us your favorite books?

I had a bunch of Disney books and really like the princess and the pea pod one.

Also had these books that sort of taught children diversity. Things like "Kelly can be a name for a boy or a girl" and "Mike is in a wheelchair but he has the same feelings you have." I read those over and over.

When I got a little older I had a book called "Teenage Romance" or something. It was a hilarious book. I might still have it at home.

OMG I forgot about the Sweet Valley Twins, Christopher Pike, and the Babysitter's Club....those were great. I remember running to see the new Pike book. Loved em. I can't believe I forgot about those.

My favorite book as a kid was 'Return of the King' by J.R.R Tolkein (the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy are still my favorite books). He was an incredible writer! The movies are nothing compared to those books! And even though the movies are good... they would be nothing without the soundtrack!
