Let's make a point here: we have a smoking age, a drinking age(which shouldnt be in place to begin with), a voting age, a driving age... What's next, a partying age?

Yes and no.

If we need to use age to protect us from them (e.g. driving age, voting age), then yes.

If we want to use age to shape their behavior or protect them from themselves, then no. Let their parents do that.

LOL when I was 17 they raised the drinking age to 21, I asked the same question, I'm 42 now, and things look a little bit better, I think age is a big factor on most of what you said.. When you have a kid or two, you might want to raise some of these age's on a few things.. Take your time you'll be a old fart before you know it..

Partying age is now at 60. They have some wild parties mind you, but the cops are never called. I've seen far too many grannies beer bong to find it surprising anymore!

I don't think they matter. For instance, they have all these laws against age bias, but try to be over 50 and get a federal job.

I don't think kids under 16 should be drinking or driving.
Do you want a 9 year old zooming down the highway?

Sure... and they're all over when you turn 21, so relax, because you'll be 40 before you know it.
