Is it just me, or are fireworks loosing their novelty?
I remember when you only saw them for a week in november and on new years eve. They were rare and exciting.
Now it feels as if it's firework night, every night from mid September to end November.

I understand that there are holidays to celebrate. But surely not every night up to and after midnight.

What i'm talking about is fireworks every evening and night. You can have too much of a good thing.
I'm listening to them as i'm typing this. The dogs are barking and alarms are going off.
Another peaceful night..

i think they should be kept for special organised events.i don't think that them going off from january till december is really an acceptable form of entertainment, they just become a nuisance.

it may be your getting older it seems the sparkle fizzles out when we get older thank god for lil kids to keep it exciting..in answer to your question i think that fireworks should only be shot off on july 4th new years eve and maybe xmas eve any other time would be very annoying i live in a state were there only sold a week before and a few days after the 4th and shooting off after that is against the law we live out in the country and only shoot off on those days above only ones complain are the horses and cattle and of course the dogs and coyotes have there say

I think it might depend on the mood that you're in. Sometimes I get tired of the same foods, the same streets, the same seasons coming around with the same traditions... Or if things aren't going too well in your life, you might feel no spark for those fireworks, especially if your health is bad, you lost a loved one or your honey left you for some schmuck.

I totally agree with you I for one am sick and tired of hearing them. They should just be for bon fire night and New Year and people need to stop selling them to kids too.

It use to be exciting for the kids, nowadays i think smoking, boozing and playing computer games excites them more.

no way man... if ur hella drunk or super high... fireworks are super cool... its also fun to shoot them off in ur back yard.. or to get those little m800 or something and cut a hole in an apple or any other small fruits and tape them into them and then light them and throw them at ur friends' frontyards
