I can see that the question isn't original, but it's a nice one to revist.

I don't know about the best or worst, they always seem to be the same ones. But some of the Presidents got a bad rap unjustly. James Polk, Chester Arthur, believe it or not, Warren Harding who was never able to defend himself. Nixon is looking beter as time goes by, as is Eisenhower. Too early to tell about G.W. Bush. Passions are high now. Folks almost hataed Harry Truman when he left office, and is now regarded as near-great. My vote for worst would probably be Buchannan, and Lincoln and FDR as best.

Not a big fan of Ulysses Grant. He was a raging alcoholic, and when a little known general toyed with the notion of running against him, Grant sent him into an ambush where he was killed, and then ruined his reputation for generations to come.

I hate to say it, but I think Nixon did more for us than we realize. He showed us that our leaders can be scumbags. Before Nixon, the presidency was like a shrine; they could do no wrong. Now we question whether our government is doing what is best for us. Not to mention ending Vietnam and getting us off of the Gold Standard.

The worst.... James Buchanan.
The best..... Abe Lincoln (although you could make a good case for Thomas Jefferson and George Washington)

Looks like nobody's ready to believe this, but there has never been a good president. They have all been bad. Some worse than others. Bush Jr. is definitely by far the worst. They are all royal blooded Illuminati, children of darkness. Almost unbelievably, 33 of the 43 presidents can trace their family tree back to Charlemagne of France. The remaining 10 are related, descendants of the 13 royal Illuminati bloodlines.
