I want to find and retrieve some files that I deleted several months ago and was told they would still be in the hard drive.

Well,if you used it extensively you can forget about that since each and every time you use your computer files are created and things are overwritten but you could go to versiontracker and search for a "data recovery" program,good luck.

You'll need to purchase a data recovery program, you can search on google and there's plenty of them out there. They can scan your Hard Drive for all deleted files.

check the recycle bin and the temp files in windows..if they arent there...ta taaa.
