On the last ten years, cell phones have quickly improved. Nowadays, they include the most diverse functions, like photo and video cam, mp3 player, recorder, GPS, blue tooth, games, file transfer, text editors, Internet, e-mail and radio. What more can be invented to make them more useful?

More built-in hand-free options. I presently have a Motorola RAZR V3. The most useful function is the user-programmable voice commands. Unfortunately, you can only set a limited number of commands.

I recently had a cell phone stolen. When I got my new phone, I had to re-program all of my phone numbers! How about the ability to download / back-up or e-mail phone lists from a PC?

I audit heavy manufacturing for legal compliance. Although I really like to looks of the RAZR, and like to titanium case, it does not appear to be very rugged. How about a cell phone that can take some punishment?

Finally, every cell I've owned has had a terrible belt clip. Whenever I lean-forward, the phone pops out-of the clip! How about a better designed belt clip!

An assault alarm, Should a person be attacked have an alarm mechanism, only the assailant would know what to say to activate it. Hooking up to either a 911 dispatch or perhaps a new emergency dispatch system that alerts emergency #'s the client has as to who to contact. A tracer tracking device, sometimes we missplace our phones, or they're stolen. Again an alarm signal or tracking device would be a nice feature.

Please consider adding a peripheral feature, allowing one to download crucial voice recordings, which may serve a legal purpose to the recipient ? In the last two weeks valuable voice recordings were expunged from the mobile remote voice message centre. When I enquired about this of the technical customer service representative, to my amazement I learned very little could be done to retrieve these items. From now on I have to diligently 'save' these messages manually, however I am still vulnerable to an automatic erasure of this kind of material. I am not the only one to disclose of this sort of experience. Any research into this arena would be most welcome.

When I get into my car, I'd like to be able to set down my phone into something that will connect to a wireless head set, which is EASILY programmable to accept voice commands to answer or call (in case of emergency, of course) so that I can drive and receive those "emergency" phone calls from my husband or children or parents without having to look for the phone, the numbers or take my hands off the wheel.

How about a cell phone that makes & receives telephone calls reliably, utilizing the maximum range available. Nothing more, no pictures, no games, no ring tones, no gimmicks. Just a GD phone.

I would love a built-in magnifying glass, so I could preprogram the degree of magnification required for the screen and for each key (button). Also I would like the casing to be slip resistant so I would stop dropping the phone so often. Thank you for asking.
