You are right that the quality of health care will decrease drastically. That's why health care in Canada isn't that good, and for many technical proceedures they come to America. Because our country is a capitalistic one doctors are encouraged to develop their skills and technology in order to acheive more success financially. If they were forced to provide health care their motivation would die.

you clearly don't pay for your own health care...

if you did... you would realize that any raise in taxes would be MORE THAN MADE UP BY the savings from not having to pay for insurance...

SO... I'm willing to give up my HUGE monthly healthy insurance payments... to raise my taxes some...

our costs on average are 4 times as much as basically every other country in the world... and the system is only mildly better, at best... that's the "market working" I guess...

I've never heard someone that knows both sides and knows what they are talking about that is against it...

people talk about how "bad" Canada is, but I know people who have lived in both countries, and most like their system better... it's not perfect, but the costs of the U.S. system are ridiculous...

we can't be the provide all to each physique united states. we could desire to tell our electorate that the thank you to make it right it is to get an coaching, and artwork for in spite of you opt for. I remember invoice Clinton while he replaced into president asserting he replaced into going to alter welfare as we see it now,by no potential befell. human beings get loose wellbeing care interior the emergency room and that's costing our hospitals an exorbitant quantity of money. I do have self belief in low income housing, yet no longer for illegals. Whomever employ those human beings ought to grant there housing, no longer the city's and state. so a procedures as once you're removing a private loan, you the two pay for it or loose it, no different options. i'm a senior citizen and characteristic by no potential taken a hand out, no count how no longer consumer-friendly cases have been. it is the way i replaced into taught and absolutely everyone else ought to learn the comparable. go away the welfare for the dis sabled and make absolutely everyone else artwork for it.

There is a lot of money being wasted my friend. We pay more than anyone else for healthcare and report a higher proportion of disastisfaction with the care we get. A government run system would cover everyone and cost less than we're paying now. If you want to keep the system as it is now, I'll thank you for making me richer and you poorer. However, I think your fellow American won't appreciate your apathy. Of course, I'm sure you have healthcare. If you didn't, you wouldn't be mocking a nondiscriminate healthcare system.

Well----I pay $30 per week ALREADY for crappy insurance (for 2), so I would give THAT up.....thats $780 per year per person.
I reckon that's enough...when you multiply by 220,000,000. Households with more people pay more.
I think it's a GREAT idea.

For those who say give up war, you are not up to date in your thinking. A national health-care system does NOT work, look at Canada for example. Privatization assures a fair market value.

How about just paying a little more taxes? The more you put into a system the more you get out of the system. Sure it'll cause a dent in your paycheck, but at least you'll never have to worry about any unexpected medical bills. It's how us Canadians do it.
