They're best at smal clear spaces. But loads of furniture confuses them. And also they don't do corners or fit under the furiniture. They're more of an expensive toy really.

I work at Wal-Mart and we had one that had a busted box, we opened it to look at it and the container for collecting the dust and dirt was only about a 1/4 cup in volume. Really a waste of time unless you have nothing but hardwood floors and very little furniture. The size of the things would be a testament to the power of the motor. It'll blow frequently.

My friend swears by her Roomba. However, the first answerer is right; too much furniture or stuff on the floor will confuse it.

They are great if you dont have alot of furniture or what nots around . If they get stuck and you are not there they will keep running in place.

They sound better then what they are. My mother-in-law got one and it was back in the shop the next day.
i think they are great on large round wooden floors.

Thanks for asking that. I was wondering about them myself. They also don't look like they have much of a capacity. Expensive toy. I will keep that in mind.
