Lynne Chaney (the wife of the VP) just said that five years of no terror attacks proves that we are safer today than we were and that the credit goes to George Bush. If this is true, then doesn't that mean that we were just as safe on September 10, 2001 and it was Clintons credit?

People love to give credit to those they are associated with and place blame to those they are not associated with. I will never understand how nothing bad that has happened during the Bush administration is his fault, but at the same time everything bad that Bush came into is Clinton's fault. Then everything good that happened while Clinton was in office was because of the previous Bush's seeds growing. Human nature I guess.

Dictator Dumbya can do no wrong despite the 8-6-01 PDB that said "Bin Laden determined to strike within the United States" and that Condi was similarly briefed. And NOW we have a National Intelligence Estimate that says the Dictator Dumbya Big Lie Iraqi Crusade is making the USA LESS safe from terrorism.
Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

We are not safer today - our borders are wide open - if Clinton or Bush were truly concerned about the safety of America & Americans our borders would be closed! Woe be to middle-class Americans - we have no representation!

Good point. Actually, there are more terrorists who want us dead now than there were on 9/11. By killing many innocent people and occupying Iraq, we have played right into the terrorists' plans. They have no problem recruiting suicide bombers who would love to kill Americans.

We're not safe. Just think about all of the terrorist attacks that were plotted against us that were stopped before they could be carried out. The government hides everything from us.
