she is 38 weeks and she feels pressure in pelvic.and wont feel it again intil that night or the next morrning this has been going on for 3 days. like i said its not a all day thing.what could this be.the baby is already down the doc said they could feel the head.

It means that the baby is in position and ready to be born. It does not mean that your daughter will necessarily go into labor today or tomorrow or anytime soon. Your daughter's position and posture will change how much pressure she feels. Don't worry about it. This is normal for the end of pregnancy.

She could be about ready to have the baby! She's really close. I know the day before I had my baby I told my mom that night that I felt like my body was ready to give birth. Well that same night I went home and had sex with my husband and had my baby the next day!!

They can move up & down. They do it durring delivery and before, its not that unusual. If it were a sign of a complications her Dr. would have put her in the hospital. If she is having a home birth they would give her on instructions on how to take care of herself. If she is not fully dialted or effaced then the baby is not going to fall out. She is fine, and the baby is fine to!

Babies just getting ready it will be any day now. Tell her relax and take a hot shower. For some reason i always go into labor in the shower. Good luck and congrats on the grand baby.

It called contractions. Many women have contractions for a long time before they go into hard labor. When the pressure becomes more steady and close together she'll know!

the baby will be boorn soon. everything sounds normal so i really dont understand what your problem is. are you worried the baby is coming too soon? after 36 weeks its completely safe to deliver.

awesome, it means you arent going to have to wait too long to have her. i went into labor being 0cm dilated and had to wait a very long 24 hours to do so. (they put me on pitocin and i had an epidural because i couldnt push since by body wasnt ready. if i had started pushing, i would have had to have an emergency c-section.)
