It is one of the main problems in pregnancy, together with cramps and shortage of red blood cells.

Here are a few tips, mainly for your posture :
- if you lift something go through your knees, don't lift anything from your hip. This is even important with very light stuff like a sheet of paper. Reaching down from your hip is a killer.
- Take enough time to rest, like don't stand / walk more then 30 minutes at a piece.
- Don't cross your legs when you sit, but put both feet on the ground.
- Don't lean against something standing on one leg, but keep both feet sound on the floor.
- Try to sleep on your side. If it isn't comfortable you can try to keep a cushion between your legs.
It is not easy to think of all of this all the time, but if you manage it should help.

Good luck and enjoy your baby !

do some pregnancy stretches, which your doctor can usually give you. I have a strained iliopsoas muscle from pregnancy, and it has only gotten worse as i get bigger. take care of this asap before it is too late!! you can lie on your back and push your lumbar onto the floor/bed/whatever is comfy, and raise your hips and butt off the floor while squeezing your cheeks together. this one has been a godsend. also, you can try a heating pad for no more than 10 minutes at a time. swimming is also awesome but it has been kinda cold for that lately.

Your uterus is sandwiched between your bladder and rectum at the hinge point for your lower back curvature. It's going to get worse as the baby increases in size and causes an exaggeration of the curvature. This will accompany pressure on the bladder and rectum. As for right now, it is more likely due to swelling in the area much like that with your period.

This is not good. go to the doctor. Back pain shouldn't start until at least 5-6 months...

Some back pain is usually typical, but if you are concerned, you need to tell your doctor. Only your doctor can check things out and confirm that your back and abdominal pain is nothing to worry about.

When I had this happen to me I was a little further along than that, I had a miscarriage. I went to doctors when it 1st started they did all kinds of test and found nothing wrong. If you do start to bleed go to ur doctor right away if it is a miscarriage it may be prevented.

are you asking for help with the pain or are you asking if you should be having back pain?

dk on the second, but try warm (not too hot) bath or wet cloth.
