I have long admired German football. There have been many great German players which come to mind. Franz Beckenbauer was really Germany's answer to Bobby Moore: he never looked under pressure and made the game look easy. Gerd Müller was a real penalty box striker and is Germany's greatest marksman. Another player I admired was Lothar Matthaeus: there was no better box-to-box player than him. For a winger, I like Pierre Littbarski: a real tanner ball player, tricky winger with good pace, and could put in a good cross for the likes of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. There are many more, but then we'd be here all night.

There can only be one! FRITZ WALTER!!!
He had everything that Football stands for. He was the most gifted player, he was a true leader, he was the most loyal football player EVER! He score over 300 goals in 340 matches for Kaiserslautern. And he scored 33 Goals in 61 games for Germany. Kaiserslautern won the World cup 1954. And he had an Italian wife in post Nazi Germany that he was loyal too until his end. He is not only germanys greatest player but also the greatest player ever in the world. And his stats would be more amazing when you consider the waste of the second world war that saw him spending hid best years in mud and imprisonment.
I **** on the Kaiser. Fritz walter was what football is supposed to be. You young guns, take him as an example!
