Each store I go into, besides perishable goods, 90 percent of the items are imported and 80% are from China. The rich are getting richer off of this importing buisness and the middle class is getting wiped out. How can we stop this? I don't think it is a political issue, I think every one in America can stop this by buying made in usa only.

This is a good non-economist's perception of what's happening. In truth you can't stop it, and what's more it would be bad for you to try. The reason is this: the American consumer gets a very good deal by buying from China. Things cost a lot less than they would if made in USA. The spare money people have then goes into buying other things, and services, so raising the standard of living. Meanwhile, US businesses are selling all sorts of things to the rest of the world (exports are going up), mostly business-to-business. Lots of Americans are in work because of exports. You may not see them on the shop shelves in Mexico and France but they're in the backroom, like the software that Mircosoft makes and the telephone switching apparatus from GE and so on.
