Has there ever been a vampire in any story or legend that has had wings?

Yeah, a few one the flew...although she didnt have wings was a polynesion fable called the "peangellian" Her head would detatch from her body

Probably not. If they had wings, they wouldn't need to turn into bats. Now, Dracula in the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula had wings when he was in his changing-over phase, like he was a giant bat. But I think that was probably just poetic license to make the scene more dramatic.
Vampires in folklore are usually puffy, out-of-it, and lurching like zombies. They're not suave and sophisticated and they definitely aren't any good at shape-shifting or even moving quickly. Vampire stories in literature probably borrowed ideas from other stories to spice up the idea of the walking dead. I mean, they're *dead*--nobody enjoys having a real vampire around. But the literary ones can be cool because they don't have to resemble the truth.

through a story yes,but in real life no.i do believe that they exist in this world,but i dont believe that they have wings like we would see on halloween cartoons like bugs bunny.i just think the wings were made up during the first shows of vampires.i dont think no person or thing could actually have wings.it is just a myth.though,some people may believe differently though than the way that i do.

bat wings...... i dont think of vampires are even meant to have wings....... oh, till the angel wings have been like, distinctive colours or something..... which may be tremendously cool.

a REAL vampire does not have wings. they look just like us, but feed of of others energy, NOT BLOOD, and they are not immortal, the energy just gives them energy, not immortality.
