Will it cost money to send text messages from Sprint from the U.S. to Canada?

It all depends on the plan you selected when you signed up for service with Sprint. To be sure, I would recommend you call to Sprint customer service. They'll be able to tell you if you have a bucket plan (a certain amount of text messages free), if carriers in Canada are included, and if not, what the rate is to send text messages to your Canadian friends.

yes spring charges 15 cents for international test messaging and 11 cents for domestic..you can also opt for taking 5usd plan for 300 text messages
