Of course. Prisoners are treated according to the rules of Allah, well until you behead them....
but after that they are always given the right to make any complaints to the red cross that they wish.

Al Qaeda is an Organization.we all know that. Our issue is that we do not want our democratically elected gov.to start behaving like the thugs in some parts of the world.majority of the people kept in Guantanamo were eventually released to their home countries after many years.with some their families had given them up for dead. When you live in a democracy you have to learn to speak truth to power.it is your duty.too many people were wrongly imprisoned and too many were tortured.these are the kinds of behavior the Geneva conventions seeks to prevent, uniforms or not.

You do understand that Al Qaeda, being a terrorist team and not a rustic or valid government, is neither signatory to, nor a situation of, the Geneva Accords? And that your final paragraph is bereft of context? i'm, notwithstanding, happy that President Obama is restoring real American values concerning torture, quite than persevering with the neo-facism of the Cheney administration fronted by W.

I think the Alquida disband shortly after the Russians left Afghanistan.
All that WTC stuff is the work of the Muslim brotherhood. Bin Ladin is a farce it's all typical CIA shadow chasing.

They take no prisoners, except to saw their heads off. Just once I'd like to see the "out of the mainstream press" do a story on the barbaric atrocities committed by the terrorists. I'm not holding my breath though.

it doesn't matter. when we sink to their level, we are no better. if we take the high road, we gain legitimacy and support and we have a better chance of winning the idealogical struggle. and of course people have thought about it, your idea is not nearly as original (or valid) as you might think.
