Why do you think they were in such a rush to pass the new and improved torture bill!
Shackles, micro-waving, etc.

I do not think it will ever go that far and I believe that most likely you believe so also. Be that as it may , I am stunned by Bush's mandate to use torture as a way to get information. I always thought of us as the good guys and above such things. If not just to give us the moral high ground so it does not happen to our soldiers or our citizens. Again I have been disillusioned. I always was pretty much a one issue voter "Taxes" and voted Republican, but as I see it the Republican party has gone so far off the rails to the right and this whole Christian group that they seem to be catering to and that is just flat out scare. So that being said I think your hypothesis is out there, but maybe not be that far out there. Take care.

They don't need to do that. All they have to do is program the voting machines so the Republicans are guaranteed a victory. The torture camps are reserved for the enemies of Bush.

So how do you propose we treat people sawing our boys head's off and car bombing our daughters? How should we treat people flying planes into father's and mother's office buildings, and tourturing our soldiers? Republicans are right on when it comes to tourture of Iraqis.
