Absolutely,a mindlessly cruel sport, that has no place in the modern world, and as an early answer said that applies to cruelty of any kind to any animal.I now live in Spain ,and in parts ie Barcelona it has been banned ,while other provinces, are renovating bullrings to ressurect it,while there are sick people that want to watch it ,there will be sick people who want to do it.,and greedy people who will exploit it.

yes it should as with all blood sports, I dont know why YA even has a forum for it. Also stupid thoughtless tourists keep the sport popular by going to these bullfights. I always cheer if I hear the bull won and the bullfighter gored. Bull dies anyway either way, poor creature in a no win battle but hey if he can take his tormentor down with him then good luck.

yes. why it is considered a tradition in spain just beggers belief, as bullfighting is most certainly NOT one.i think its appalling and the people who choose to get gauged and stampeeded on are just nuts to get involved. and those poor bulls themselves are treated inhumanely by their owners. every time i see on the news the reporting of the running of the bulls and of people being picked up by the horns and tossed about like a doll, i feel nothing but despair. do i consider bullfighting as animal cruelty of one of the highest order? absolutely.

To me that is an same as "God works in mysterious techniques" or "who're we to question God's will?" that is the best all answer even as they don't have a real smart answer. And it really is an same component. idea in God growing to be the international is an same theory as idea in Gaia, or mom Earth. i do not see the way it could be cruel, except for the actual shown actuality that *maximum* Christians are whiney. Oh, they could go round wearing their crosses and blessing everyone left and correct, yet when I placed on my pentagram and say, "Goddess Bless you"....... Freedom of religion my ***. :)

yes! whats the point of it? how can they call it a sport? any 'sport' where the animal is taunted or beaten just so they can win and make greedy men richer should be abolished

yep the only thing funny about bull fights are the people that get hurt in them, it serves them bloody right, i would never pay money to watch a bull get teased then eventually killed, who cares about the tradition, it's bloody wrong, get ya cossies on and head to the beach much more funny!!!
