Men are more afraid of being called gay than women. Why can men be promiscuous but women can't without being called a whore? Because we are more afraid of that than men are.

Have you ever heard Madonna's song "What It Feels Like For A Girl"? There's a little spoken bit at the beginning that addresses this, and how degrading it is to women that women's clothes aren't acceptable for everyone, while men's clothes are.
It's pretty much because society is stupid.

Well son, it took us eons (or a few years, whatever) to get to the point where we had the option to wear men's clothing. To be liberated......

all I can think of is for comfort reasons. why would a man wanna resign himself to wearing a dress if he could move so much more easily in pants?
