Erm there are many theories on this in psychology! Whether you are a cognitive, psychodynamic, humanisic, biological or behaviourist psychologist!! If u believe in the biological then u could argue that its innate and we get out traits from our parents! However if ur a behaviourist u will believe that aggression is learned for example by watching aggression on TV! I believe as there has been a study done on this that its learned. The study was called the bobo doll study check it out ull find it on google or wikipedia!

I don't think so, or we'd be seeing a whole lot of really angry babies.

Aggression is a behavior that is largely learned, not inborn. However, some people seem to be hard-wired to react more aggressively than others, when presented with the same set of circumstances or stimuli. Through behavior modification, aggression can be UN-learned and replaced with more appropriate ways of responding.

I would think that some people are born aggressive but I suppose circumstances can teach someone to be aggressive

Hello. Yes it can be. I speak from experience. I have a lovely personality(many people say so) but a nasty streak not far under the surface. It's not a physical thing, just anger.

People can have a innate predispostion for anger.

yes. All living things are agressive. Its part of what keeps them alive. I include plants as well into this statement. People can be trained not to act on their agression but are by nature agressive.

People are born aggressive because they're at the top of the food chain...we are predators, we kill everything.
