At 34 weeks, the baby's chance of survival is over 98%. You can look at this website for more info:
http://www.spensershope.org/chances_for_survival.htm
For babies born after 30 weeks, the chances of any permanent problems related to prematurity are also pretty low these days. Don't worry! Even if you deliver today, things will be fine. And I went for 2 weeks without my mucous plug. (I might have gone longer, but I was induced).

At 24 weeks the survival rate is 50%, at 28 weeks it's 90%. At 34 weeks the survival rate is 99%. Your baby would be fine, but would stay in the NICU for at least a few days to be monitored. My plug came out at 34 weeks, and I didn't go into labor until 38 weeks, so don't worry.

Chances of your babies survival are quite good. Although, their lungs are probably not as mature as they should be, they should be fine. The doc may decide to give an injection so that their little lungs will mature a bit faster. I believe you can lose your mucus plug and be okay for a few weeks...that'll give the babies time to mature a bit more...
Be sure and call your doc and let them know you lost your plug. They'll be able to make the right decision regarding the health of your unborn babies.
Good luck!

The chances of your baby surviving are very good. He/she may be in the hospital for awhile, but the chances for survival are better now than they used to be. Have you been to your doctor or does he/she know that you have lost your mucous plug?

My son was born at 29 weeks, ans although he had to be in the hospital for 10 weeks he is now a completely healthy, normal 2 year-old. Did you call your doctor when you lost your plug? Some women can go for a few more weeks after losing it.

People have premature babies long before 35 weeks and they survive....Either through the help of medicine or on their own. You and your baby will be fine even though you probably should be at the doctor instead of on the internet.

there is a good chance of survival...the babies who are usually born before 25 weeks are the ones more likely not to make it...also, it can depend on how developed your babies lungs are, they need those to survive so the more developed the better...i dont think you have much to worry about but dont worry yourself into labor, i have done that before...

You have a very good chance, my cousin gave birth to her son at 35 weeks and he was healthy but very small = 2kgs. I would say you should try to take care of yourself and refrain from going out these days until you give birth.
Ang go to your Gyn regularily to make sure all is ok.
Good luck sweety

very good, however your doc. will have to determain whether or not your baby needs to stay in the NICU for a bit or if the baby can go home. Mainly the issue is making sure the lungs are fully developed at this point.
