I've seen both. Loved "The Devil Wore Prada" - a great girls' night out movie. I wasn't so much a fan of "The Black Dahlia." It was kind of hard to follow, and it was more bloody/violent than I expected. Also I was expecting it to be more about them trying to solve the case, when it really was more about the two detectives lives and how this case affected them.

The Devil Wears Prada was such a disappointment!
Another case of taking a really great book and hacking it up and turning it into something completely unrecognizable.
Crap. Crap. Crap.

relies upon on the guy you're finding out to purchase the action picture for. i actually like "The devil Wears Prada". i admire style, Anne Hatheway regarded gorgeous and did a great activity, and Meryl Streep became staggering as consistently. "Prada" jogs my memory of "In Her shoes", "on no account Been Kissed", and "working woman". So, if the guy likes a sense-sturdy-chick-flick some loser who properly-knownshows herself and springs into her own, then he/she would be ready to like it.
