Whats the deal with this. I see CSI:SVU CSI:Miami, CSI this and that, LAW & Order CSI etc. whats going on here? How many shows are there? Are they all the same damn show?

CSI: New York (Pretty good, but the original is still the best)

There are 3 different Law and Orders...
Law and Order ( Regular crimes)
SVU ( sex crimes)
Criminal Intent ( high profile)
3 CSI's in different places
Las Vegas (original)
Miami
New York

well now here is the truth.. there is CSI and CSI:Miami and CSI:NY and then there is Law & Order and Law & Order SVU and Law & Order CI... i think thats all of them... there are three shows on each... and within the same show realm they could guest on a different one... such as Dective Goran could guest on SVU or the original... and in CSI's Grisom or Stokes could show up on MIAMI or NY... i love those shows... and not they are not the same...

Nope, i understand your fustration... and dont wish to wind you up...
the same franchise is
CSI: crime scene investigation,
CSI: Miami and
CSI NY
which are in no way the same only same by name and type they have same jobs but diffrent methods etc
and then
LAw and order are totally diffrent to CSI and they are
LAw and order svu and law and order criminal intent
there may be a few more but they are not the same and are not designed to be confusing to the veiwer.
I am sorry that you are fustrated by all these csi shows and law and order but to be honest theres only 3 csi and 2 law and order.

There are three CSI shows:
CSI
CSI Miami
CSI New York
There is Law and Order and Law and Order SVU for a total of two.
They are all diffrent with diffrent actors. Hope this helps

They plots are similar, but the scenary and characters are different. They're popular shows, so producers have decided to make more of them.
