My husband has been working in wal-mart for 4 years. Some managers has it against him because he is hispanic and doesn't speak english. First because they lower his salary,and gave him a lower position becuse,supossedly he wasn't performing his job right, and today the store manager humilliadete him in front of some employees. Can be put a law-suit?

How come he has not learned English yet? It would not only make him a better employee to know two different languages, but he should want to learn English anyways because it would be the ethical thing to do. As far as not performing his job right it could be possible, maybe your trying to find false facts for a dumb lawsuit hoping you can get lots of money. Have a very nice day!

How did he know he was humiliated if he doesn't speak English?Maybe after four years he should respect this country enough to learn the nationally spoken language.Seems like you can spell it just fine,here's a thought,instead of jack-a**ing around on the computer,why don't you teach him.Or is this a marriage of convenience?

Perhaps, you should consult a labor attorney. This does sound strange considering he didn't speak english when he was hired.
