I hate to say it, but Travis from Blink 182 is a damn good drummer. Other bands to check out are Coalesce, Burnman, Casket Lottery. Dave Lombardo from Slayer is probably one of the best drummers ever, but the majority of his stuff doesn't fall under the 2000-2006 category.

Jim Riley from Rascal Flatts. He's been with them for a few years. Also Jay Demarcus is an awsome drummer, he's usually the bass player for Rascal Flatts.

Joey Jordison from Slipknot - he is amazing! Also, check out the drummer from the band Rush, they are an older band but the drummer is fantastic! Joey is by far my favorite!
