Fabric dye probably won't work but try a couple of bottles of fabric paint and 'paint' the polyester fabric. You could use sponge brushes and put the fabric paint straight onto the fabric, no water, thats why you may need several bottles.
Good luck ;)
Happy Halloween!!!

Your decision of dye relies upon without delay on what form of fabric you're employing. you will get undesirable effects in case you utilize a wool dye on cotton, or a cotton dye recipe on wool, or the two on polyester. Polyester demands using disperse dyes. different kinds of dyes leave the colour of polyester almost completely unchanged. mutually as beginners fortuitously value into dyeing with acid dyes (for wool or nylon) and fiber reactive dyes (for cotton and rayon), usually with spectacular effects, the immersion dyeing of polyester is a distinctive tale. Immersion dyeing with polyester isn't a activity for beginners; that's the two harder and greater risky than immersion dyeing cotton or wool. besides, maximum such pre-made outfits are marked "dry sparkling purely", and you purely can't dye a garment that's no longer cleanable. the project with polyester dyeing is that it demands a super form of heat to get the dye into the fiber. Boiling water isn't warm adequate to do the interest via itself, so a noxious-smelling service chemical might desire to be extra, for immersion dyeing. Polyester dye certainly transfers to the fibers ultimate at very severe temperatures, the temperature of a warm iron, or greater. attempting to locate a corporation that has the flexibility to dye via ability of immersion would be almost impossible.

Polyester fibers won't absorb the dye well. Buying it to dye it is a waste of your time and money. Sorry.
