The current answers intrigue me. Especially the 'lil gal from the UK, after all of the material objects listed, she mentioned a form of: "companionship"-BUT- not without a HIGH price tag. This could be a very; for lack of a better word usage; I'll say: useful life tool. It is one thing to want. Yet it is completely another to achieve.
Hence, my point that: the "must have" is very basic; in that; it is a form of survival. Setting goals for ones self and once achieved you are at a different plateau and you should have grown from the
exposure and hopefully brought new friends, or at least new acquaintances with you. Aha another attainment that you may or may not even realized. Hope this gives you some insight, as internally as I go!

I have to agree with Amber.
Just wait until the rest of you are having an appointment to visit a 6ft deep hole on a regular basis and you'll soon see that the latest ipod or mobile phone don't mean zip.

i can only tell you what i can't be without at this moment:
laptop, mobile, digital camera, i pod, personal organiser, and camcorder, they are the things i use nearly everyday.
the thing i really want and haven't yet got is one of those egg chairs and a baby boo pushchair for my daughter (the one i want is £1'300) they are the must have's
