hello all! i have good news! My period ,they are ALWAYS on time, is officially three days late!!!! isnt that exciting. I was wondering how long until i can take a pregnancy test? we are so ansy and want to take one ASAP but we dont want to get a wrong answer. thanks so much! Angie

could everyone please rate that horrible girl "MILF" a liar. in those questions i never said i was 14 i never said that i was actually pregnant, it was a possible pregnancy. The doctor said that the last time i thought i was it was a chemical pregnancy(look it up. you should be able to find something. its where the baby implants for a while and then the body rejects the baby) that was a horrible thing to go through and that horrible women said all those mean hurtful things. she had no right to do that. please just ask me a question by emailing me if you want to dont be rude like "MILF" i bet shes not a mother anyone wants to F*c* HOW DARE SHE SAY THOSE HURTFUL THINGS!!!!!!!!!!

If you're late, you can take an OTC pregnancy test now. If you end up with a positive result, get the books "What to Expect When You're Expecting" by Heidi Murkoff, et al. and "The Girlfriends' Guide to Pregnancy" by Vicki Iovine. The first book is in question and answer format and SHOULD NOT be read from cover to cover--read only the parts that apply to you, or you'll end up with every symptom in the book which can drive you nuts for nine months. The second book is a more comedic--yet, honest--approach to pregnancy and all its symptoms. It tells you what all the doctors and websites do not.

You can buy a store pregnancy test kit and do your test with first morning urine. (That is the best urine to use as it contains the most humangonadotrophin hormone if your indeed pregnant) They are pretty reliable. Not fool proof though...but pretty reliable. If they say POS, I say congrats and 99.9% you are pregnant. If it says NEG...that doesn't mean you are not pregnant. In some cases with some women, it may take longer to start producing that hormone that spells out positive. Try again in a week (another test) if you have not started. Good luck and here's hoping that your results are whatever your wishing for!!

with in the next few weeks more of the same. If you are going to buy a pee test kit do not bother until you are at least 8 or more days late. If you are sure you want to know now go get a blood test. With pee tests you can get a false positive or negative. Good luck.

Wait until first thing in the morning to take a test. If you are pregnant, go ahead and start taking prenatal vitamins. Also, you will want to go in to see your Dr. Some Dr's will want you to wait until you are 6-8 weeks along before they will schedule your first visit.
At the first visit, they normally do blood tests and then a sonogram to both verify the pregnancy and also measure the sac and baby.
In any case, if you are pregnant, congrats!

You can take a test now. There are test they make that you can take it 5 days before you are supposed to start. By a two pack and then take one now if it comes out negative then wait a few days and if you still havent started take it first thing in the morning thats when you are most likely to be able to tell. Oh and if your boobs are never really tender and they are now that is a good sign mine killed me right before I found out.

The first response test is the earliest one that you can use. It reads the hormones earlier than the others. And yes, it is best to do it first thing in the morning.

I think if you are already displaying other symptoms of pregnancy then you should be able to get an accurate reading on a home pregnancy test. Go to the Pharmacy, & read the directions on the HPT that you want to use, & see if there is anything about your question on the directions label.

you could very well be pregnant...one thing that can cause a period to be late is stress.you are only three days late...i would give it another week and if you havent gotten it by then deffinitly get a test either first responce or an e.p.t....im wishing the best for you!!!!good luck and god bless!!

If you period is late you can take it now! Just but two as you will probably want to take one tomorrow morning as well, as your hormone levels are highest in the morning to give you a more accurate result. Let us know what happens!!! Good luck to you all!!
