My son is 3 yrs old and in prek and they informed me that we can't have holiday parties anymore they have to be called "fall party" =halloween and they can't dress up anymore.."winter party"=christmas party.. Yeah I said "Christ" isn't that something? What the hell is so wrong with it, so what if there are people in that class that don't celebrate it at home that doesn't mean that those whom do should have to suffer.. No one is saying that you can't do your own beliefs but because of the few that don't the ones that do can't. So to make one happy, your are saddening others.. My son didn't understand why? As far as the Christmas thing goes, they say that children can't tell people to have a Merry Christmas anymore, that they have to say Happy Holidays.. I will be damned I tell my kids to say that, it is Christ's Birthday and if people don't like it fine, but don't tell my kids they can't say it.. I told them they could say whatever they choose. Grow up people, and let children be kids.

I agree that kids are kids and all and that most children's parties are harmless. I don't think however, that not having a party at school would qualify as suffering. You kids can say merry christmas all day long but christ wasn't born on Dec. 25th. That was the date the church picked to usurp Saturnalia, a Pagan holiday. Happy Holidays includes everyone. I see no harm in it.

We live in a sosiety that is ruled by a few educated idiots who tell us what is good for our countries we have the same problems over here. these intilectuals have the job of deciding what things may upset the other cultures in our society so therefore we cant sing praises to christ becuase that may upset the non christians we cant call a spade a spade cuase 1-2 racisits use that word dont go outside and have a fag now we must go outside and have a cigarette we must live so that everthing we say or do can have no second meaning or upset other cultures races religions and sexual genders or preferences however if the people we protect say and do things that we do not agree with they call that multiculturism and part of their heritage for egsample a muslim cliric just anounced that women that do not cover up are inviting men to rape them becuase they are evil workers of saten this is just pat of his culture if we were to say this well the s**t would hit the fan. its called multiculturism its just that while they are protecting the other cultures we are loosing ours.

First of all we as a society have to take in consideration that we donot think alike. I see what u r trying to say . but they are not saying thtat u have to stop celebrating holloween ,christmas ect. the way u want at home.They are placing those rules in a public goverment facility,were kids of different backgrounds and like u said different beliefs attend. Other parents with different beliefs would start complaining if these rules were not taken into comnsideration. We would have other parents complaining that the educational facility is interfering with their beliefs , the same as u are. The goverment following the principal of "democracy" is just trying to be fair to all, even though they dont do a very good job, but who would. no one.

Actually it isn't Christ's birthday. he wasn't born in the winter.
It was sun worship and sex worship and has nothing to do with Christ. The ever green tree was the only thing left green so they cut it down and decorated it. Had a party got sloppy drunk and had an orgy. When the pagans were converted to Christianity the church adopted a pagan custom. So it is blasphamy to call it a Christmas tree. They did it to insure that the sun world come back, in a few months it did and they were afraid not to do it.
Go into encyclopedia's and see for your self. Santa Clause is a lie and a lot of people object to lieing to their children.
Personally I don't care what you do but I don't like to be forced to particapate in something I know is pagan and evil.
Halloween is a satanic holiday to represent dead people.
Why are informed people forced to use your pagan expressions.
A lot of religions don't believe in Jesus and some who do object to putting pagan customs in their worship.
Yet a bunch of control freaks called Christians force their pagan beliefs unto us. Not the other way around.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, our society has become so diversified in beliefs, in cultural celebrations. Saying Happy Holidays during Christmas is because we are afraid as an American society to offend Muslims, Jews, Hindu, Buddhists. Our country was founded on Christian principles, it is on the dollar bill, in is in our constitution, yet we are afraid of insulting the few and ignore the majority. The Pledge of Allegiance has become offensive, talking about God is not good form because it isn't politically correct. I don't know what the answer is other than to teach what you believe in, in your home, and bring your child up knowing there are other cultures and religions, and that is what America is, a melting pot of differences, however, you believe in the American flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, in God, and prayer. Always stand up for what you believe in!

I have to agree with you, i think that if you come from another culture or country, to live in a specific place then you need to adapt to that culture that you are moving into, and not make the culture you are moving into adjust to you and your beliefs, i am only going to type a little about this i could go on for days, and no i am not a racist, i enjoy all cultures, i am a American living in Northern Ireland, and there are many different countries joining the E.U. and are coming here, and they are affecting the culture here as they do everywhere else they go to, to put it in short, if you move to a different country join them in harmony and do not take your cultures there, if you want to live in your own culture -- go home

prison- initially created as a place for punishment for crimes and conserving criminals off the line. Now it has grow to be a house packed with issues to thrill rapist, robbers, drug sellers, psychos and murderers who must be doing demanding actual hard artwork, yet rather have become t.v., stages, writing books, recording music, and so on. They get greater then a homeless guy, which makes me question.... do some human beings dedicate a criminal offense in easy terms to have each and all the advantages of being in prison? for many folk it could be punishment, yet for the actual extreme criminals and persons who've been around that atmosphere their finished lifestyles, it quite is not sufficient. so as that they pass out and do it returned. additionally some human beings do no longer recognize something to boot the crimes they dedicate and don't recognize what to with themselves so as that they return.
