ok here is goes...i've got msn live and i love it, but for some strange reason it's not working right....ok for example one of my friends had to get a new account...so he told me to add him to my list...so i did but it just shows him as offline all the time, like he didnt accept the invite... so i was talking to him last night and he said i'm just offline on his msn list too, even when i know i am online!!!!that have happend now to 3 contacts....and my mom has MSN 7.5 and when i am at her house all the conatcts that r not working r working on hre msn, and just the other night when i was at my moms i signed into my msn and 2 people had added me to their msn, so i accepted and i WAS talking to both of the people, but when i came home they r not even on my list on msn live!!! also i was trying to download Internet Explorer 7 but it says i dont have the windows xp service pack 2, does anyone know how to get that...i have tried, but it wont work!!! please help me!!!

no...i dont think it illegal XP, i nought this computer new from a computer store!!!! any other answers on how to get the PS2 to download?

also i did all the updates and it sayd there r none...no hardware, software or anything...i'm drove with this!!!

ok now i got Service Pack 2...but my msn is still not working....please can you help???!!

You need service pack 2 to get you msn Live to work properly and all your friends need Msn live to to be able to use all the functions.

In most cases where you have problems upgrading to SP2, it's because you have an illegal copy of Windows. I know there are ways to bypass that but I won't show you since it is illegal!

If that's your situation then the solution is to visit your nearby computer store and buy a Windows XP CD.

If you do have a legitimate version of Windows and get a different error, please provide it for further assistance.

Note: Updating Windows is always the first step in troubleshooting those kinds of issues.
