Low income democrats, what have the asses done in the last 50 years for you other than take your vote for granted?

Lowered my taxes from the Clinton years, my mortgage rate is lower, my stocks are doing pretty well. They have made jobs more readily available. Under Democrats, as a general rule, they tax the middle class more and then attempt to handcuff the businesses that provide jobs. They also tend to spend the extra taxes on social programs that are useless except in the fact the keep the dependent dependent on their hand out. This keeps the lower class where they are and keeps there vote safe because "they are doing something to help". If those people were to become middle class and had to pay for the programs themselves, they would change to republicans.

Given me a tax cut while driving up debt, which my kids will pay for :)
Also, inflation (aka interest rates) are controlled by the Fed, not the Republican party. Thank Alan Greenspan for that. Interest rates fuel the economy by promoting growth and expansion through low cost capital. This makes jobs and low interest on credit cards, mortgages , etc.
Rates were lowered after the dot com bust and 9/11 to vitalize the economy.

Let see my loan on my house is at 3.9%, I'll have it paid off in 5.5 years instead of 30, my stocks are going up, I have money in the bank, my life is pretty good. I own 2 cars - both paid for, 3 TV's, refrigerator is full, bills are all paid, I owe no credit cards or any outstanding bills besides my monthly utilities. I live within my means, take atleast 2 vacations a year, and my wife and I do it without any help from the government.

They have encouraged me to vote a straight Democratic ticket for the first time in my life.
