My wife hit a curb pretty hard a few years ago, which caused alot of damage (but it was supposedly fixed). But now when Im driving and hit a bump or pothole (and when Im driving staight and quickly hit a patch of ice) the car quickly jerks or pulls back and forth, which it has never done before. Does anyone know what this might be from?? Thanks in advance!

All cars are unstable on icy roads. I have a new vehicle and it jerks if I hit a bump. Go slower on the ice and remember to wear a seat belt. Or if you want to feel better, take it to 2 different mechanics (so you get unbiased opinions).

Sorry, it does no longer count that it replaced into snowing. vehicle A pulled from the facet of the line into the circulate of site visitors. That places vehicle A a minimum of 50% at fault for the twist of fate. vehicle B might have some comparative negligence which might cut returned the quantity paid to vehicle A. besides the shown fact that, through fact legal accountability replaced into denied, the case handler felt vehicle A replaced into the two 50% or 51% at fault for the twist of fate and is barred from restoration. i assume that this twist of fate did no longer take place in a organic Comparative state. With organic comparative, you will be able to desire to be ninety 9% at fault for an twist of fate and nevertheless recuperate a million%. If the poster is vehicle A, touch the insurance employer and communicate the legal accountability assessment with a supervisor. Be well mannered, and don't lose your cool. that gets you honestly nowhere. you will be able to desire to document a small claims action against the driving force/proprietor of the different vehicle. stable success.

The alignment wasn't done right. Normally when a car does that, the toe in is toed out and causes it to dart back and forth.

You probably need new tires, or your existing ones are improperly inflated. Check all 4 tire pressures first before doing anything else.
