All of my friends are going to the homecoming dance and I wanted to go to. However I don't have anyone to go with. I don't want to look lonely by myself!! Should I go and have a good time dancing? Or not go?

Absolutely go. You don't have to have a date. You are a woman of the 21st century. Go out, have fun, have the time of your life. And make many memories, take many pictures, that you will want to share with your grand children.

GO! I didn't go to all of mine, and now I wish I would have. You will not be the only person without a date. Most people don't dance with their dates all night anyways, so there will always be groups of girls to dance with. If you're solo on a slow song, go get a drink or fix your makeup in the bathroom.
Now, get away from the computer and go make some plans, enjoy it!!!!

Just go!!! My group of friends and I, aren't really the ones who obsess over guys and stuff, so we just met there and we hung out with each other, you don't need a date to have fun, and nobody's really gonna be paying attention enough to notice if you don't have a date or not. Actually, at least at my school, a lot of people don't get dates on purpose, so they can dance with everyone and not have to dance with the same person all night. Just go and hang out with friends, you don't need a date, go and have fun. :)

I think you should go and have a fun time, whi's knows someone might ask you to dance but, even if they don't there's nothing wrong with going with just friends. Enjoy the dance, hope you go! :)

Definitely go stag. You aren't going to be stuck with one guy the whole night and you can dance with everyone else's dates!! I completely guarentee that there will be guys there on their own too. Guys are probably more likely to go alone (stereotypically) so you may just end up with more than one guy to dance the night away with :)

Go! You can say you were there when someone asks you later. You can have fun with your friends. Who knows, something funny may happen and if you miss it, you'll be completely out of the loop when your friends are laughing about it later.... live it up and Go!

you'll probably regret not going so i would if i were u. mayb u could try 2 hook up w/ one of yr old guy friends, in other words if u can't get a date date then just ask someone if they would go w/ u as friends. i have seen ppl by themselves tho, its better than not going not all. :)
