The 'evil eye' is a very old superstition. It is commonly found in Eastern Europe, Greece, Armenia, etc..., but mostly in Italy. In fact, in southern Italy, a lot of folks still believe it today.
Somebody that has the evil eye is supposed to be particularly envious. If they set eyes on something with a desire to possess it, bad things are going to happen to that thing or person. There exists signs and rituals to try to fend off the evil eye.

Because they're so rare. Personally I could fall head over heels for ANYONE with green eyes... So pretty.. So pretty
Lol but really, I think the general stereotype for evil eyes would be red, or black. I doubt anyone in real life has red eyes, but I have a friend who has black eyes... creepy as heck man.

I didn't know they were portrayed that way....
maybe because envy (or jealousy) is called the green-eyed monster?

Well I know this isn't 'scary' but there is a saying 'green-eyed monster' that saying means that you're full on envy and well monsters and villains are just full of that

naaa not green they are usually red and white...green are cute....only green color on body like of HULK are show in a evil way....SPOOKY color green if its on body but if someones got a green eye damn thats cute...esp girls that is...
