check out jcwhitney.com! they have a LOT of differant products including car spacific replacment headliners. if your head liner is just sagging and you want a quick fix, then walmart sells little screw type buttons that are clear so they will show the color of your headliner. They are called "Saggy Stoppers" made by headsup. I used these in my 78 cougar and they work great!

Adding to Gary Gearfreak's instructions: Make sure you completely remove the old fabric liner and the any adhesive remaining on the headliner. Use a bristle brush to rub off all the old adhesive and vaccuum well. Any old adhesive will prevent a good attachment to your new layer of adhesive. You also can try spraying the new adhesive in 2 coats - one in the long direction and second in the short direction - to get full coverage. Then lay the new fabric over the headliner from the center and roll it out towards the corners. Smooth all the wrinkles and trim the edges. Leave a 1-2 inches overhang on the front windshield side, spray adhesive on it and tuck it over to get a nice edge for the front. Cut any openings for dome lights, etc and install the reverse of the removal. Good luck. The improvement is like night and day.

Roof liner, of what car? Restore??? Perhaps your better of with a vinyl sheet, that you can put up with a frame and some handy glue... The frame... you could make from the spokes of an umbrella,. Some have hollow ends that you can fit together, perhaps those of bicycle wheel will due the trick to .....Of course you'd have to know your way around a welding apparatus with electrode's fitted for aluminum work

Go to Wal-Mart in the department where they sell upholstery repair and needles. They have a bag of little cork screws with clear plastic heads on them. You can just screw them into the headliner and it will hold it up. They cost about $1.00 a bag.
And they look nice, like they belong there. Don't use thumb tacks, they fall out.

you can do this yourself.... remove your headliner(depending on what kind of car you might ha to remove your interior wall panels..usually just by pulling them off or a screw or two) and peel the liner off carefully and slowly....3m makes a spray glue that you will use ....spray down the the cardboard like filler and then spray down the liner ...wait a minute and apply the liner back to the filler pull tight and spread evenly...use spring clamps to hold in place...wait for the time suggested by 3m glue and put liner back in car....not too hard but time consuming....

I took my '88 Nova to the shop, and at modest cost, it came back lookin' cool. My dau. did the same with her '92 Saturn. DIY advice here looks okay if you can't pay, but I bet the pro job looks better.
