The fact of being "a bunch of beer swilling monsters" is the gracious one.
Your Empire spreads crimes all over the world, only U.S. people are worst, so no one can think in WW2 the good were you because you were fighting against what you were always doing in other countries: slaving and raping and slaying.
About your culture, you are in one of the best places of the world; every man must thank Shakespeare and Coleridge. Thanks for Beatles too.

Well, I can't criticize the British because I never met any, of course in many movies they highlight the Brits to be monarchy lovers that has a time for tea and crumplets(if that's how you spell it) or people that swings kegs of beer and start to sing a song and drink until their heart's content. But I can't criticize you Brits yet until I meet one myself.

Lol this question is cute. I like the English. Y'all are alright by me. Of course there are some @ssholes... but that is true of all cultures. What do I think of when I think of English people? Just people like me and other people I know. I do not think you all are different except you have a different history and have a different accent. Although I do think the average Brit is more infromed as to what is happening in the world. American media really only covers world news that effects America but when it comes down to comparing Americans and English the cultures are very similar.

What do you really think of Americans?

We're a great mixture of diverse peoples. Generally, we're one of the most tolerant, forward-thinking and accepting nations on earth. I love the attitude of just getting on with things and not making a big fuss about everything. I've lived abroad for a while but I feel lucky to be living in the UK.

From what I gather 'Brits' are like everyone else. They work, they sleep, they eat, they sing, they love, & most of all, they're human like the rest of us.

Personally, I don't think of them in the way the American media portrays them here - anymore than how the media portrays any groups of people from a country they don't really know about.

Brits, Id say are more commonly known for being tea drinking arrogant, fools. No offense. Germans are known for their beer guzzling.
