John Varvatos, hands down. My husband wears that and has since had five friends buy it because they like it so much. It is available at Sephora I know, but other places too.
Very Sexy for Men (the first one) is another good choice. I had a lot of exes wear that and love it. You can try that on at any Victoria's Secret Beauty store. I used to work there and it was not a hard sell at all, most men who gave it a try ended up walking out of the store with some.

I love 2 that my hubby wears, PS (Paul Sebastian) And Obsession, I love to cuddle up to him when he wears these 2. But remember it all depends on your own body chemistry. Go to a good department store and try a few out, there is always someone there to help, bit of trivia, you can only smell up to 5 different colognes and then you can't get the full effect of another, so take a break in-between. Good luck!

vera jung, it's soft, yet spicy...depends on your skin. If you have an oily type of skin, go with the spicy, yet toned..less expensive, lady stetson, curve, channel #5, or good old obsession
if you are dry skinned, I'd go with a sweet, calm, bed and bath skin enhancer..don't make it too smart, it will not be suitable for your type of skin, maybe a vanilla musk type..
if you are normal you are lucky...take advantage of the types that stand out, but don't smell better than anyone else, that is very insulting, especially if you are trying to express yourself, but not impress yourself..try an armani sweep of some type, or go with a comfortable geogio..

for a man or woman??? I really like "Curve"for men,, and for women, I use "Still" by JLO,, I have gotten alot of compliments on that. there are so many great smelling perfumes and colognes out there.... just make sure that when you go and look for one,, its not too overpowering or in other words "give me a headache" type stuff. good luck on your search.......

Burberry
Curve
Drakkar Noir (my personal favorite on a man...it's amazing and sexy, a more mature fragrance that women adore)
Nautica
Hugo Boss
