Your answer is voted best by the asker or other voters, you haven't been a member very long so you probably will be voted best soon!

GIVE A GOOD ANSWER TO A QUESTION. pICK AND CHOOSE THE QUESTIONS YOU ANSWER SO THAT YOU ARE SURE YOUR ANSWER IS GOOD. IT WILL HAPPEN, JUST MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME.(Sorry bout the caps)
If you have only been answering for a couple of days, then many times a best answer wouldnt have been chosen yet. An asker has 3 days to choose a best answer.
Sometimes questions are worded so that you can tell the opinion of the asker. In this case, if you have a differing opinion, chances are you wont be chosen by the asker as best answer. So dont answer those questions if you are that concerned. I have a 16 or 17% best answer percentage, so i am not worried about that. I give my opinion anyway.

Well, some people prefer to leave sarcastic answers and that is not the way to go about doing it. Just be sure to answer the question with all honesty, just imagine that the person is your best friend and they really need your advice.

The worst best answer experience I've ever had was this one guy wanted to know the name of some song on a movie so I referred him to Adtunes.com. I was the only person to answer his question, so he chose me as best answer, but in the comments he wrote "you were supposed to do it for me you lazy skank." You know, we aren't here to do your work FOR you, just point you in the right direction. If you didn't like my answer you shouldn't have chosen it as best answer.

give some positive answers and don't attack the person who asked the question. If you don't like their question, then be neutral about it and offer some suggestions. Another is to answer their question by giving the pros and cons.
Most people who answer questions will just give a bias answer for the plain 2 points. The people who win best answers, are those people who put thoughts into their answers.

Answer things on what you know. If you play sports alot, then go to the sports section of the answers. Or if you listen to music alot, then answer in the Music section.

Also, try to answer the question completely, and non-sarcastically.

There has to be a question somewhere, that you can answer better than anybody else. Go look for it!

Either be the first (sometimes that helps), or put a lot of thought into a well worded non hateful answer. Listing sources can help too. Hang in there, you'll get some best answers.

Answer the questions with more than a yes or no or I don't know. Give details or if you have something funny that happened to you about a certain thing, tell them in the answer. You'll get one sooner or later.

I've been 5 so far. Usually your answer has to have detail or a good source to cite. Personally, I find a bit of sarcasm helps now and then :-) That's just me.
