I think its funny. I love how she just lets all the negativity roll on by and doesn't fester in the idiotic comments thrown at her. But I think the whole thing with the dad trying to kill the old editor is stupid.

Frankly, I do not like the stereotypes I see in this program. It might have made a better movie than a series. I do like the girl who plays Betty and the kid that plays her nephew steals the whole show: what a talent.

It is good to see Vanessa Williams and she is great as a camped up meanie but the whole theme of the show is basically cruelty and ethnic bashing.

All that said, however, I would rather watch Betty than any of the other smacked out crime scene, paranormal, forensic, legal, unrealistic medical, and politically pretentious messed up shoes the networks are trying to foist on the public. I normally do NOT watch network TV except for Survivor and I did enjoy Rock Star Supernova this past summer.

Network television is dead. Soon we will all be watching whatever we choose on our computer monitors.

I like the eccentric characters... They seem too bizaare for the real world... They are so diverse and they add up to the charm of Ugly Betty... They're all funny, too...

I love Betty's nephew..he's so adorable...
I love Marc..
I like Christina and her accent...she's quite a popular actress in the UK actually and she has been kissed by Daniel Radcliffe already in the show EXTRAS...

I think it's really great because so many people can relate to how Betty feels.
