Supervised probation is just a stepped-up form of probation. In those cases, not only is the probationer required to adhere to the rules set forth by the court, but he or she is more closely monitored. In extreme cases, it's almost as strict as house arrest, as they have to report every time they leave the house, and the exact time they return. Often times, the probation officer will pay an unannounced visit to see if their charge is behaving him or herself. My advice would be for your boyfriend to carefully watch his actions and not try to get away with violating the terms of his probation. To do so will most likely result in his serving a jail term.

supervised probation means he will have to report on a regular basis to a probation officer and pay a fee for the supervision.
