We had a ghost in our house. We could hear the tv upstairs until we reached the top and no longer hear it. We could hear something walking on our floors upstairs (hard wood floors that squeaked) and it would stop. We would wake up to a radio playing in the mornings. It was loud but we could not tell exactly where it was coming from. It was odd. It was like they were jibber jabbering but in your mind it was like you understood it. After a while you would realize it was no longer playing but you never knew when it turned off. My dog would hear it to. Just different things. We were never scared though. We never felt threatened.
Of course not many people believe our stories but I am not here to try to convince anyone. I just tell it like it is.
Actually... When I was pregnant... I had 2 things happened that scared me to death... We no longer live in that house.
Our back door was in our bedroom. My husband worked night shifts. I woke up at 3am with my back door wide open. I thought someone came into our house. I closed the door and found it still locked.
Second time....
3am...(two weeks later) my husband was off that night. Our bathroom door was hard to shut because our house was settling and the walls were kind of off sided. Well... I heard what sounded like a wild animal beating and banging on our back porch... I checked outside and nothing. I kept hearing something get thrown up against the house and running, etc... I saw my bathroom door closed.. (very unsual) I opened it up and my dog was shut in there... He was so scared when he got out he could not walk. he kept falling to the ground. Finally after 30 minutes he was ok again. Never found out what that was but I swore I would never get out of bed at 3am again. (we moved not long after that)

I have a ghost in my house and I have never seen it, but used to hear sounds and it would do crazy things like knock stuff off the counter and turn the tv up and down and stuff. When I realized "something" was in the house I told it (yes, outloud) that I never wanted to see it and if I ever did then one of us would have to go and to this day 9 years later, I have never seen it. If I ever do I will probably jump out the nearest window!!

I have wanted to believe. I have wanted to see a ghost or have some paranormal event happen to me. I have read books, saved magazine articles and watched every documentary I could find. After years of studying, listening and learning I have come to the conclusion - for myself anyways - that ghosts do not exist. I got rid of the magazine articles, gave away the books and I only watch ghost stories for the entertainment value now.

I don't necessarily believe in ghosts, but I do believe in spirits. Some are good, some are bad, but mostly none walk around with chains moaning and groaning. I have an evil spirit in my apartment that hangs around the master bathroom. Whenever I'm in there I can feel his presence, like an evil creepy-crawly feeling that seriously scares the wits out of me and makes me want to run as fast as I can in the other direction. Needless to say, I keep that door closed!

there was this incident and it happened to me when i was 18..i live on the first floor..i was in my bedroom sleeping..it was about 1 pm in the noon and the windows were open...i heard strange noises in the closet...i just ignored them and went back to sleep...but then they happened again..so i sat in my bed...and then the closet opened ,and a black cat came out...i was sooooo scared...i couldn't move...and it just walked in front of me and out the room. I don't know if it came through the window while i am sleeping, but i would have felt it...besides the closet was in the corner of the room ,far from the window...i just can't for get the way the cat stopped and kept looking at me b4 walking out of the room...it's not that easy to see a black cat walking out from ur closet.

I've seen ghosts. I was scared but that's normal since I scare easily. They didn't do anything to me though.

Not personly, but the evening after my mother,s funeral, friends& family were at our house to give comfort & support. My friends husband went inside the house {it was July and we were outside] to fix a drink, scotch i think, anyway he came running out of the house , white as a sheet, and shaking! He kept stammering "she's in the kitchen". Who?, we all asked? SSSarah, sarah, he just kept repeting himself. {Sarah was my mothers name. ] No one had the guts to go in the house for awhile to check. Till this day H.L. claims he saw Sarah's ghost.
