Both obsessed with Jews.
Both idealised rebels.
Very concerned with the rest of humanity.
This question is concerned with what they have in common, we are not playing spot the difference!!

Both idolized by thousands
Both men
Highly religious
Both scared a lot of people

I think they both persistently followed their belief till death.
Their belief was also the indirect cause of their death.

Also one could say that both wanted to change the human life style, culture and customs to make humans better.

they both were crazy! and tried to fit the world for them, instead of trying to fit in the world (you can think of them as heroes cause of this. Oscar Wilde said, and I agree,:"To disagree with 3/4 of all England is one of the firs principles of sanity!")
