Just look for cloths that YOU like not clothes everyone else likes. It should make you happy to wear them, and you'll probably stand out too.

I always liked vintage. Just think of all the big named stores everybody and their momma are going there, if you go to a store that sells vintage clothing, combine some of that with the clothes you have now you will stand out, because your clothes will be different. Or just buy t-shirts that have phrases or sayings that you like that'll get you some attention. Always remember though: the person makes the clothes not the other way around, your personality sould reflect on you clothes, not you clothes reflecting you personally. Does that make since? I hope so.

I am not a fan of thrift stores, but I guess it depends on the look you are going for. You can express yourself through what you wear. I like places like Nordstroms and Express. Most 14 year olds wear t-shirts and jeans/cargos, so try things that are more trendy and put together (t-shirt and jeans can be trendy and put together as long as you spend the time to do so).

Well, thrift stores allow you to put together your own look without costing a fortune. Even the smallest towns have them, so check them out.

If you want to buy at regular stores, well, so can everyone else, so that defeats your objective of standing out.

Try used clothing shops. Or as someone else said learn to sew.
If you watch Project Runway on Bravo TV you will see many clothes designers are men and they sew them as well as design them!

Is not the clothes that make the man, but the man makes the clothes. Find your own unique style first, and then buy clothes.
