Hey. My fiance was in a motorcycle accident last night in NY state. As I live in NC, and am going to school here, I was at a loss as to what to do. I am so worried about him.
He called me when he got home and explained what happened. He has a shattered collarbone, a collapsed lung, bruised ribs, something wrong with his thumb and many cuts and abrasions. He has to go see two different docs on Monday.
I really wanted to go see him but he and my parents both said that I was in no shape to drive home last night or this morning. So I'm going next weekend.
If anyone out there is compassionate enough to do so, would you please be able to keep him in your thoughts and prayers? I know I definitely am..His name is John. Thanks. I'm sure he will appreciate your thoughts when he's healed.

I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! John seems to slowly be starting to heal. He went to the doctors' offices yesterday and today. I am still waiting to hear from him on what they said, but as far as I know, he's doing ok, and WILL DEFINITELY get through this! THANKS AGAIN!

my prayers for you both! Make sure that you are driving really safe when you go see him, o.k.? and also make sure that you take care of yourself while you are taking care of him! You still have to do that, alright? Wish I was closer cuz you sound like you need someone to go with you to help you and also to give a shoulder to lean on! Best wishes for you both-keep me updated on his recovery so I know how to pray best for you both! You can email me if you want to, just click on my picture, I think!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and John. I wish him a speedy recovery. Be careful on your trip home. Drive safely, and know that by taking your time getting there and not rushing, you will be helping John recover faster by him not having to worry so much about your safe arrival, therefore focusing on his healing process. Seeing your face will be just the amotional medicine he needs. Take care and be safe.

I would just pray to god and see if he gets better, I think that is the best that you can do if your parents won't let you see him. Or you can email him, call him, or even write him a letter to let him know that you are thinking about him. Keep a picture of him with you at all times, and that is all I can think of. I am sorry for him and you both.... may he heal well.

Honey, if he has a collapsed lung, they should have never sent him home! I hope he gets the care he needs. Speedy recovery to him, and you hang in there.

I will pray for both of you, my husband was hit on his motorcycle last year, he had a broken collar bone and it took a long time for him to heal. It is pretty painful and turned all kinds of colors. Hang in there....
